Today, Med-Mizer has innovated the ActiveCare™ Bed to solve this challenge.  The ActiveCare™ is the first US manufactured rotating hospital bed with innovative technology to help improve mobility, comfort, independence, and the safety of both the individual and caregiver.
For anyone looking to remain independent due to a progressive illness or injury, the ActiveCare™ can allow you to safely transfer in and out of bed.

Med-Mizer ActiveCare Hospital Bed

  • One Button SafeTurn Exit — exclusive feature that fully automates the bed to turn into a chair and allow the patient to safely enter and exit the bed.
  • Full Chair Position — full chair position to allow the patient the ability to sit in the bed for added comfort. Watch TV, eat a meal, and socialize with family and friends while remaining comfortably in bed.
  • RollBack in Place™ — head of bed can articulate to 80 degrees with the assistance of rollback in place to alleviate shearing/friction in the lower back.
  • Optional Adjustable Overall Height — Adjustable Height gives you the ability to adjust the chair to the exact height to get in or out of bed as well as adjust the height for optimal height for caregiving.
  • Optional Built in Stand Assist — Adjustable Height (optional) can be used as a stand assist to set the bed/chair height to an appropriate height to add assistance and safety when getting in and out of bed.
  • Optional Trendelenburg (Only available with Height Adjustable Bed)  —  trendelenburg and reverse trendelenburg to help support advanced positioning needs and to help with feet elevation (potentially reduces swelling).
  • Optional Battery Backup kicks in when there is a loss of power. Bed will continue to have full functions.

        Med-Mizer Deluxe Prevention Mattress (High Risk Prevention)

        • Multi-layered pressure redistribution mattress with die-cut top layer featuring high-density foam in the torso and head sections. 
        • Sloped heel section with high-density foam offers excellent heel support and pressure redistribution.  An additional layer added with channel cut to provide additional pressure relief. 
        • Firm foam perimeters were designed to enhance transfers and support seating on the edge of the bed.
        • The stretch cover provides low shear friction surface with anti-microbial and moisture resistant properties. 
        • 270-degree coverlet with zipper allows for easier replacement.
        • Fire sleeve meets Federal Fire Code 16CFR part 1633.

        • 3 in 1 powered air support surface with three therapy modes, including Alternating, Pulsation, and Static(Constant low pressure) plus additional therapy with the true low air loss advanced coverlet.Advanced true low air loss coverlet blows air directly into the cover which provides microclimate management of skin temperature and moisture.
        • Auto Boost helps max inflate the surface during rotation which is intended to provide maximum pressure to the seat section to help with entering and exiting the ActiveCare bed.

          Your homecare bed is eligible for up to three years of in-home service. Should your bed ever need repair, simply call Express Hospital Beds and we will dispatch an authorized service technician to your home to diagnose and repair your bed absolutely free of charge.
           
          In-home service on your bed means you’re covered for diagnostics, labor and repairs.

          One year in-home service contract $150
